Greetings dear visitor
At this moment you might have a few questions running through your mind. Like… "Who is this guy?", "What does he do?" or even "What do I eat for dinner?"
While I cannot help you with the last one (pasta is usually a safe choice!), I can maybe fill you in on the first two.
Who am I?
That's insanely deep philosophical question that every person in the world struggles with (I think?). I don't know if there is an correct answer I can give or if there is even a correct answer.
The closest definition I can give for me as a person is, An ever-evolving, ever-curious person going through life trying to be the best version of myself — shaped equally through the successes and the mistakes.
Where am I from?
Born in the quaint town of Neyyattinkara, Kerala (beautiful place, btw), and raised amidst the bustle of Chennai, Tamil Nadu, I was shaped by the quiet tension between calm and chaos.
Much like the places I call home, I have learned to balance the delightful disorder of my many interests with the quiet focus each one demands.
What did I study?
As an aimless young adult searching for his interests and passions after a Covid-marred ending (ugh!) to his Bachelor of Engineering (CSE) degree, I wanted to pursue a Master's degree. While looking through a bunch of degrees, I felt a pull towards the Masters in Image Analysis and Machine Learning from Uppsala University in Sweden (Skol!). I was intrigued by the program's specialization track in medical image Analysis, as it combined my interest in the AI domain with the passion to apply it in the medical field.
What did I do for work?
After completing my Master’s (phew!), I wanted to broaden my understanding of AI beyond image analysis & computer vision. That led me to Natural Language Processing.
The curiosity eventually led me to work with Generative AI and Agentic AI in my professional career, broadening my understanding of intelligent systems beyond visual data.
What I like to do off work?
If my blatant use of alliteration was not evidence enough, I thoroughly enjoy reading and writing anything (fictional or non).
Beyond words, I find joy in fields like photography, music, dance, junk-art, and any medium that allows me to express myself.
